Thread: Premium Auctions?.. worth it?
I tried it once thought it would highlight my sale but it was broken at the time. It cost me 100 creds to list instead of the usual 20. I think it is now working because i have seen a few sales with colored names now and they always are at the top of the list of items for sale. I haven't tried it lately but it should be working. The colored text does stand out and listing you item first is a good bonus too.

Premium auction items tend to be listed before regular items, but I don't think that works very well.
As for the colors, next time you create an item, try putting "\#FFFF00" in front of the name. =)
Ok, I ran a couple premium auctions last night and it appears that they do indeed work. They cost 100 credits as opposed to the usual 20, and are placed on the front page. No funky colors.
My experience is that premium auctions do not necesarrilly come up on the first page, they seem to be placed pretty much where your regular auction would be. What they do do however, is to keep you on every page thereafter it seems. So as the auctions get old and fall off and your auction moves closer to the front page, you will be appearing on more and more pages of the laterbazaar pages.
I actually find them rather annoying really, it may have just been a fluke, but it seemed the last time I was searching for a particular item.. a full 1/3 of the page kept constant from premium auctions which really limited how many other items I could view and of course... added tons of extra pages for me to have to flip through. I suppose it wouldn't be so bad, but about 1/2 of those were posted by idiots selling Inert Petrochemical (4) 500cr and stupid stuff like that. I swear some people just use the bazaar as a harrassment device for all the other players.. who in their right mind expects to make a sale like that.. or thinks that anyone would buy (1) resource even if it was priced right... what the heck good is 1 resource.. I am usually destroying the rest of the stack when it falls below 20-40 or whatever the requirement was for what I used it for.
Which cost the seller 20cr each to post.
