Is it just random allocation or has some planets more resources (i.e higher overall density)? Some tme ago when making a trip to Rori it looked there were more resourcs there than on my homeplanet Corellia. But that might just be a random factor.

It should make sense that some planets have higher probabilities to get more of certain resources. But if it is so is another question :-).

I really would like to get an explainion from the developers about how resources are allocated, when and what cause resource shift (for example will the probability that a resource shift occur if that resource has many heavily mined).

It's supposedly all random... which means after a couple shifts, one planet that barely had any resouces, could then have the most resources.

I read in some screen or another (character creation?) that Rori is supposed to be more resource rich than Naboo. I've also observed that it *seems* like there are generally more resources on Talus than on Corellia. (Not necessarily density, but larger variety at a given time.) I haven't taken any data, however, so this is all by eyeball at a few specific times... highly questionable.

I don't know. I always mine on rori..it's my preferred planet to mine on, though i live in Theed...

I've found several concentrations of over 70% over...have GREAT copper spot right now (998 con on the copper) on a 94%

I love rori. Not only do i find wonderful spots..but i can almost always build there unless i'm in the swamps or mountains..no competition with houses, factories and harvesters unless you're down by rebel outpost.

That should've read: Several spots of ore of over 70% concentration.
