ello all. I have a schematic on my datapad that is not showing up on my crafting tool, and yes it is the correct type and I am by a crafting station. The **edit** thing just isnt there. It is, however, on my datapad.

Is there a way to craft an item from the datapad? Can you crate a macro to craft a specific item from your data pad? thanks

I'm not sure what you are trying to do exactly. Schematics are not used to craft anything from your crafting tools. You put them into a factory, along with the EXACT ingredients, and it will start making that item. That is the only thing a schematic is good for.

Ah I guess I dont exactly mean a schematic. It shows the item in my datapad, the advanced droid motivator, but it doesnt show up in my crafting tool.

you probably need the specialized, not general crafting tool.

There are items you get that require, not only the specialized crafting device, but ALSO require you use a private crafting station (that is, a crafting station of the proper type, IN someone's house).
