I'm was grinding my way towards Architect and crafting all kinds of random stuff. I ended up with a couple of deeds for Wind-thingies, so I pretty much just slapped them up outside my house, and now I'm sittiong here with 30k Wind Energy, and I was wondering: What is this stuff worth?
Is it worth anything?
I have seen people on the boards almost giving it away.

Well power is needed for any factory or extractor so the quick answer is - yes its needed
As far as how much its worth again the short answer would be to go to www.SWGcraft.com and use their calculator to find out how much you need to sell it at to make a profit vs your maint payments.
_However_
As you have noticed people are practically giving it away, almost everyone has a generator of some kind (there is also solar and radioactive) and as such there is more power being produced that is being used - you'll have to examine your local market (bazaar etc) to see what the going rate is and if its selling or not
