If I am given admin rights to another persons house, can I add a vendor.

If so, what happens to the money from sales, does it stay on the vendor to be picked up, go to my account or go to house owners account.

Thanks in advance.

I believe (I havent tested this) that if you have admin rights to the other building AND you have at least Business III you can place a vendor inthe house.

Since its your vendor only you can stock it, buy offered items from it and profit from its sales (as well as pay its maint)

Correct. Given admin access to the house and Business III you can place your vender in someone elses house/shop. And only you can place items on the vender and receive money from it.

If you really trust the person, and he/she really trust you... You can do what I do for my friends... THey give me what item they want on my vendors, and I put it on there for the price they said... When it sales, I forward them the "SYSTEM" mail; to show them it did sell, and that I am not trying to cheat them out of money... Then I will tip them the amount it sold for...

This works for a friend and myself, but maybe that's because we live like five minutes walking distance apart... If we trying something stupid, we could just run to each other "real" houses and whoop some a$$...

Thanks everyone, I have the xp for the business skills, but not really interested in going past business 4.

I really wanted to save lots for harvesters, my friend says I can have his lots, but I don't want to bother him moving mines all the time, so I thought I would use his lots for a house and factory.

Now all I need is a fast mount or a bike [dreams...].

The only thing I'll add in favour of going beyond business 4 is that the maint rates on the non-NPC vendors scale with the value of what your selling. If the total value of good for sale is high then the maint rate will be huge!

NPC vendor maint rates are currently bugged at 1 cr (fixed) while the devs have said this will be fixed (and repalced with some kind of sales tax) I'd advice you to take advantage of it while you can.

Wait a second I am doing this vendor on another house thing and I'm still getting merchant exp, or so it seems. Are you sure about that, that you do NOT get exp?
