Am continually wondering what the 'market value' of the resources I pull up are.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Look at the bazaar. look at the prices of things that get sold in a day or two. In otherwords anything with 4 or less days left is too expensive.
Start at 3to1 and go from there.
Ask a Weap/Arm/Chef/Doc what they want and what they'll pay.
I've sold hunderds of thousands of credits worth of resources on bazaar mostly 3to1, better metals 3000 cr for 500 or 800 units. Better means several worthwhile stats over 900.
I'm sure most my prices are on the cheaper end, though.

I take an unusual approach to this topic:
First, I determine what my costs are for getting the resources. I use my lot management spreadsheet for this. (Shameless plug) You can get it at http://swg.medievalweapons.net (End Shameless plug) Once I know what my costs are, I determine how much profit I would like to make and then place those resources for sale on my vendors. One thing I do not do is raise my prices just because a resource has all 1000s for stats. I'm a miner, it costs me the same to pull up good stuff as it does crap, so it's all sold at the same price. I sell power for about 1.5 credits per unit and I sell inorganics and organics (from flora farms) for around 2 credits per unit. With my current method of gathering resources, half to three-quarters of my price are profit.
