Thread: How do I find a lost harvester?
I clicked on a waypoint in my inventory, then right clicked on it to select destroy. Apperantly my mouse drifted down a bit and got the one below it. Poof, no more WP to one of my mineral extractors. Is there any way to find this thing?I tried running around where I thought it was, even surveying looking for the mineral it's on. Ispent 2 hourswhere I thought it was, but I don't see it.
HELP!!!
Just an idea.
If you just wait you should get an email telling you your harvester is damaged (after a long while-depends on your maintenence pool) with its coords. That almost always works for me ![]()
Then again, I don't dekete my waypoints too often....
It's a first for me, and one I hope not todo again (deleting waypoints).
I put 2 days worth of maintenance in it so hopefully soon it will say that it's out there somewhere.
How do I fix it after it's damaged btw?
Figure out which resrouce it was on.
Go back out to the planet you were harvesting that resource on. (Hopefully you have a SMALL clue as to what/where it was) and survey for that resource again. Once you get near the center where you were, start clicking on the harvesters you see. YOUR harvester will be the only one that gives you more then "Examine" in the radial menu.
I had to do this on Lok a couple times.

That did it. When it finally reached 48% it sent me an email. I was able to pull the resource out of it and destroy it. No sense in paying 1500 to repair it when I can buy them for as low as 200.
Thanks Halma
