Whats up with survey missions? They tell you the type ofmaterial you need but they don't supply the name. "Do I get intrusive ore or sedimentary ore? Ok there are five types of sedimentary ore." Then I have to find an undetermined place with exactly 67 percent of an element I don't even know the name of--thanks for making it easy and totally worth the 400 credits. I'd really rather do this than craft a conductor for 900 credits.

If anyone actually know hot to complete a survey mission please reply.

Well the trick is to go 1024 meters away from the terminal a little more. Then you survery untill you find one over 70. If it is an ore mission it can be any ore same with whatever. Then you run into the city and grab 2 of thouse missions usualy the higher paying ones just require a higher percentage. Then you just run them of the resource you found over 70%. BTW: Gas is usually pretty easy.

You need to sample the resource that meets or exceeds the required concentration rate. Here's the catch you need to sample at least 1024 Meters away from the spot where the mission was given to you. So if you are asked to find a pocket of gas at a concentration rate of 55% You must find a spot that has at least 55% and it must 1024 Meters away. Once you find your spot sample it and your mission will be over and your reward will be placed in your inventory. If you are asked to find gas any gas will do same goes for metal.

If the mission says "ore" then it doesn't care what kind of ore it is. All you have to do is find a spot with a concentration higher than the requirement more than 1024m from the mission terminal. I.e. if the mission is ore, 55% concentration all you have to do is find a spot of 55% or greater ore 1024m from the mission term.

Survey missions generally don't take as long as crafting missions (read that as no shuttle waits). As you progress through the crafting tree (and the weapon trees) your mission types will change from looking for "ore" to looking for "igneous ore" or "sedimentary ore." Additionally, as you progress, your payouts will climb and you can run missions for 1800 a pop.
