Hi,

I'm pretty new at this game (only got it a couple of days ago) and I'm the stage with my artisan character where I want to place harvesters. I've placeda mineral extractor succesfully, but I cant seem to place my wind generator anywhere! When I try to use the deed it either says "Building not permitted here" with no explanation as to why or it comes up with the overhead display but no positions are acceptable. Any help much appreciated because I'm getting rather frustrated!

the place that you place your wind harvester must be

a. windy (use wind surveying tool)

b. quite flat space around it (available space problem)

c. away from a city or certain points of interest. try about 1k away (building not permitted here problem)

Also, spawned lairs can also block placing structures. If you've got enough combat skills to take out the lair, the area will open for development once it's been destroyed.

Hey,

When building any structure, I've figured outyou must be about 1100 out away from the city. Or you will get, "Building not permitted Here". Keep that in mind when surveying.
