When crafting clothing as an artisan why can't we add a bit of colour?

having to make boring black-grey-white clothing is sooooo dull.

Do you only get to choose better colours as a tailor?

Devs, please add a few new colours to artisan-designed clothing!

Sorry, if you want specialized skills that relate to one of the advanced professions, then you need to spend the skill points to earn them. Even tailors don't get our best and brightest colors until Tailoring IV or Master level. Moving the good colors into Artisan would make our entire Tailoring skill line worthless.

The main features of clothing are style and color. Keeping the brightest colors in Tailoring ensures that a tailor will still be able to make artisan-level clothing better than a pure artisan, and I think that's the way it should be. Asking for colors that are currently high-level to be added into Artisan levels would be similar to me saying that I should be able to make decent Ubese in Eng IV or run5 vendors at Business III.
