Thread: sick of losing resources in critical failures ?? try this

Take novice architect, i mastered then dropped it and while grinding master artisan i still had some architect skills left. When i got crit failures i still had my resources, just like when i was an architect. But since i've dropped architect to free up skill points, i lose all resources again.
Anyone prepared to test this ?? and see if it just wasnt a bug on my side ?

what were you making when you got the crit fail? I never took architect skill, and just now crit failed on a personal harvester and still had my resources. Just yesterday I crit failed making a powerup and lost the resources.

It's only architect items (structures, excluding vehicles) that resist critical fails. You can build mineral harvesters as an artisan and not lose the resources on a critical.
There's nothing special about architect or master architect, it's keyed on the item.

hehe yeah just realised.. ohh well never grind a profession at xmas when your fridge is full of beer
