I'm new to the crafting professions and I'm struggling to obtain the amount of resources I need to make the grind to the next skill level. I haven't bought a harvester or tried one out yet, but I'm thinking it is about time I get one. Anyways, my questions are; About how many resources does a personal, medium, and large harvester obtain in a day (while at a good area 70%+)? How many credits does a personal, medium, and large harvester use in a day? Last thing, how much spots do they take counting against your lot limit?

Personal Harvester:
720 credits per day
600 power per day (can run about 6 of these from a wind generator on a 50% spot)
on a 70% spot will produce 2016 resource units per day
1 lot
about 1000 to buy one

Medium Harvester:
1440 credits per day
1200 power per day (can run about 3 of these from a wind generator on a 50% spot)
on a 70% spot will produce 4032 units per day
1 lot
at least 10,000 to buy a mineral one, 30,000 for others

Large Harvester:
2160 credits per day
1800 power per day (can run about 2 of these from a wind generator on a 50% spot)
on a 70% spot will produce 7056 units per day
1 lot
at least 70,000-100,000 to buy one - some can't be made right now because the schematics are bugged

Then there's also the costs to move one when the resources change, and the cost to buy and run your wind/solar/fusion generators.

What are the moving expenses for a harvester?

For the smaller harvesters it is cheaper to just distroy it and buy a new one. You have to have 1500 credits in the maintenence pool to have the equipment redeeded when destroyed. When you can buy it new for 1000.... My advice is to run the maintence down first so you are not out any more money. My appologies for misspellings, I have been up way too long...

No skill is required. And yes usinga Survey tool to figure out where to place is usually a good idea
