Thread: Factory timings

Does anyone know if there is an equation that can be used to figure out how long a factory batch will take to complete? - A friend and I share a factory, but as he has placed it, this means I get no email to notify on completion, so either have to guess, keep checking up on it or just leave it until the next day.. Neither are very efficient.

I can see that things with a lower complexity take a lot less time to complete than others, but not sure if there are other factors to take into account here..

Any help appreciated as then I could set up a timer in game to let me know when to get back to the factory..

Thanks

(Complexity / 8) * # of items = Minutes of Runtime.

If you Examine the factory, it tells you the time it takes to make each item (in seconds).

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's (Complexity * 8), not divided, for the time for each item, and it's the base complexity of the item, any complexity increase from experimentation doesn't effect factory time.

But the simplest way is to just examine the factory after starting it, especially if you have a lot of draft schematics to scan through.
