I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to get specific results when making Melee power ups. As far as I can tell, its random. I have made melee power ups with 4 different modifiers, and others with 2, using the same resources and getting the same amount of sucessful experimentation, or at least I think I have. Does anyone have a better understanding of making power ups, melee or ranged?

General consensus is, no there's no way to determine powerup modifiers other than using high OQ/experimentation to improve the numbers. There are always a couple jokesters who post in threads like this that they know how to affect it but then never seem to fess up with any concrete details.

No it is random. However, if you experiment only 1-2 at a time you will get some strange results. I have gotten upwards of 4 different modifers in one power up. I just made some the other day that were +33% Mind +16% max dam and +5% min dam.

I had one the other day come out Action, Min, Max and speed. I had a failure along the way so my stats were not the greatest.

I usually find this to be the most time comsuming way, but sometimes you get a surprise.

The key to it, more than with any other product, is to use factories. I've generally felt that it's just not worth bothering with trying to make specific ones and I just make for personal use until I get access to a factory

Then it's Mind Cost or Action Cost with a speed suffix (except TKA which are often at the cap so they get a + max damage suffix)
