i got master artisan a long time ago and thought that the title was pretty cool even though i got nothing cool to make but a bird cage lol but one of my friends got master entertainer and got all this cool stuff and i looked at the other proffections and saw you got all this other cool stuff that made it worth getting. they should put something for master artisan so it is worth getting. i was thinking of a mouse droid sense you can make things from every elite proffection like weapons armor and havesters ect. what you other people think?

I think "worth" is in the eye of the beholder. aka opions vary

Keep in mind that they are the sole source for things required by several other professions. That seems prety worthwhile to me.

Also the 'cost' is trivial 3skillpoints and teaching people skills. Not counting the 4 columns requried

So, many, many professions get it just to have those requried things.

Pure speculation here, but anyone want to take bets that Master Artisan will be a prerequisite for future crafting expansions (like vehicle or spacecraftbuilding?)

I am a droid engineer, I absolutely can not function without hoards of electronic parts. For the past week I have had my factory producing hundereds of these master artisan parts every day. I use lots of them. I use so many infact, I really wish they would give droid crafting experiance instead of general crafting, since once I am master artisan and novice droid engineer, I have no further use for general crafting experiance.

hell the master artisan is the only source for a couple of items needed to make PA halls. In fact since we couldn't find a master artisan (after I knew what exactly it was I needed) I had to become one just to make those items for our master architect.

Quite right, Master Artisan has some schematics for critical components that go into many of the higher fields, such as the droid engineer and architect. I agree, however,that we could do with a bit more usefulness, as these items are only components and, to my eyes, are the only reason to get Master Artisan in the first place.

The main problem is that most people that need the Master Artisans, just become them themselves. Maybe we'll see this trend change later, but with enough skill points to master 3 professions and dabble in a 4th, most people are going to have room for that master artisan.
