In an attempt to grind my way up through the basic artisan tree, I was running two generic crafting tools at once. Then, suddenly, it stopped working! I don't know what happened but when I try and initiate the second one, while the first is still working, it will give me a message "The crafting session has ended!" and both machines will shut down without any product being produced and I loose the material. Anyone know what causes this or how to fix it? Both crafting tools have 90% effectiveness so I doubt that is the problem.

this happens to me as well... maybe slightly different tho... when the first crafting station ends, if I havent finished up the second one yet, then I get the 2 messages 'the crafting session ends'. However, if I do get the second one finished..then they both work, and I get exp for the second craft session. It's a strange occurance, and it prevents me from using more than 2 at a time in a chain... very annoying

Use 3 or more crafting stations…makes sure your experimenting so your inventory doesn’t fill up, because if the output hoppers get full, you’ll get an error message (though I believe that one says you can’t create another item until the output hopper is full), and, if you’re using a macro and clicking your mouse a lot, put longer pauses in between.
I’m using a macro that pauses for 4 seconds between each important stage (i.e. for the most part, between tool selection and just after selecting the schematic) and I’m using five crafting tools. Makes it a bit easier, I don’t bind up as much/get that error message.

ok, I will try it with pauses, but even when Im not using a macro... if Im in the middle of something, selecting a schematic, inputting resources, or any step of the process, if one tool timer runs out then it closes up the crafting session Im working on.

this also happens to me, makes it very hard to grind and impossilbe to use macros on more then one crafting tool

Same thing here ... practice is on, so nothing is blocking the output hoppers. Running 4 Crafting Tools ... but cant really use more then 2, every time one of the tools finishes its production, the current crafting session will abort with the mentioned Error Message.

Played around a bit more, and found that I only had that problem on Correlia, but everything worked fine after i took the shuttle to Naboo ... might have been the zoning that fixed it, or it was planet specific, or maybe it was caused by the people around or something.

This happens to me too. It happens to me on Naboo, so it's not planet specific. While using two crafting tools I get the message "The crafting session has ended!" It happens when the first crafting tool comes to completion, then I get the message and both crafting tools are completely reset, losing all resources in them, and the timers are reset so both are instantly usable again. Very frustrating.

Same thing happened to me since yesterday 1/03/04, in TC, Naboo. So yes, it's not planet specific. And i think it's only in generic tool... coz my food/chem crafting tool seems to be workin fine. I can use all 3 tools at the same time for the food/chem. so i think it might be isolated for the artisan XP.

all of the problems in this thread are server side lag related.....find a spot in the middle of nowhere, put all your graphics on low, mess with your pausings for maximum speed and craft away.

This only happens to me, and happens very consistently, when crafting new crafting tools. What is everyone making? Does this only happen whn you are crafting something specific? Like I said, it only happens, and always happens to me when making crafting tools. This begun after a specific patch, though I don't remember exactly which patch it was.
