Thread: Stat Migration and Stats in General

I am a Novice Artisan, approaching being a Master Artisan. I hooked up with someone online and got a hold of some really good armor: high quality composite armor. However, I tried to equip it and it said I needed more strength, constitution, stamina and focus. I could wear parts of it, but not all.

First off, I had no idea wearing certain armor was contingent upon my stats.

So I decided maybe I could move around a few stats so that I could wear armor like the stuff I got. I found a Master Image Designer and she was going to charge me 50k for a stat migration. I'm new and that seemed like a lot to me, but she explained it took a while. I don't currently have 50k to spare, but I'll get it if I need too.

But that got me thinking: Do stats remain the samethroughout the life of the character? In the standard RPG model, stats get upgraded every now and then, but as far as I can tell, the stats you get in SWG stay the same. Is this true?

Stats remain the same unless you get an ID to help you change them. The price the ID quoted you was fair. I charge quite a bit more than that because I don't really like to do it.

You could also use a combination of food / spice / buffs to get into your armor. The downside to that is that you'll need to buff up every time you want to put it on.

In general, as a combatant, I've found secondaries to be far more important than primaries. You've already seen that secondaries drive your armor. They also drive your "healing" rate.

But then the Artisan forum isn't really the place for in-depth discussion of attributes as they relate to combat, so I'll shush now...
