Thread: which resources are best?and where can they be found?

I am new to the artisan profession and would like to know
1.Which metals are best?
2.Which organics are best?
3.Which fiberplast ,petrochemicals,and oresare best?
4.Which fules are best?
5.Which raidoactives are best?and what are they good for?
and where can they be found
any comments are welcome

Hi there,
The resources (all types of resources) shift every 1 to 7 days. So which one is best and where it can be found is both time-dependent and galaxy-dependent (ie - Ahazi and Wanderhome will have different resources spawn with different qualities). As for whats "best", that depends on what you want to use it for.
If you haven't done so yet, I highly recomend reading the Artisan FAQ to get an understanding of the class. Best of luck to you!

honestly, as far as what resources are good, you'll just ave to learn through experience what stats are good for what items. With crafting in this game it's not like 1+1=2. I have found however that if you use common sense when crafting, you can usually figure out what resource stats are good for that item
