Thread: Just HOW Random are the random resources?

All right- I'm a little paranoid about this, but it's been MONTHS since even halfway decent avian meat dropped ANYWHERE in Bria...it's as if there's a Grand Purpose to make buffs all become sub standard in our galaxy...


Coincidence? I think not...


thus my question: just how random are we talking about here for resources (at least for animal sources- I'm sure the ones that require surveying use a different system...)

Well, some dev posts have given a pretty strong implication that different resource types have different stat ranges. So the conductivity of Plumbum Iron will never be very high. So they won't have an equal chance of every stat being between 1 and 1000.


It's possible that creature resources (along with fibreplast and flora) have different ranges for different planets. So Naboo avian meat may have a lower range than, say, Yavin.


It doesn't really answer your question (since better stuff has spawned), but any random process ends up having streaks of good/bad luck.
