Heyya

Oky well its poissble that Jawa beer can be sold,, But Honestly, i dont know how any one sells anything else.. I just stuck 4 crats of artisan food on the bazzar. 15 items in a crate. The crates were on for 1k each,, thats less the 100 credits per unit,. and ohh15 or 20 credits per use,, I could have sold the light add for 25k no problem. turst me as a bio i know this for a fact. well EX bio. These itemsdid not even sell in over a week. Thats practically giving the stuff away and it sill doesnt sell.. Im sorry but to me that is a huge issue with artisan food. at 1k thats one of the cheapest items forsale on the bazzar and it still doesnt sell. People buy CDEFs, 150 hp stim b''s even reinforced jackets, and pairs of shorts sell for that price,, i have sold all of the above. But an entire crate of food wont sell there is something serriously wrong. This should be the NUMBER 1 issue with artisan. If anyone disagrees please post..

Acaully one of the crates was a crate of Caf... and nice caf it was too.

Ive also ha bfar treats, and tietler noodles this is good stuff, not crap,, the bofa treats stacking would give a +550 heath, and the noodles a +550 stamina.. the caf was similar in stats..i think these are about 70-80 singles, high quality stuff.

I know i sound like a broken record about this, but,, i think i should : )

When i was MCH i used to buy bofa treats and food like that to feed my pets to get rid of wounds .. it was a cheap way instead of having to take medic.

So there is a market out there for cheap food.

its not the point of cheap food, a chef can take any crap resource and make say veggie hash, or what ever and make pet food,., and thats my point exactly, Total crapfood to feed pets. thats not that interesting to make,, why even bother. Yea ive sold bofa's with total crap resources for 1k a cratelabled as "Scooby snacks" im sure not getting rich of it, and if it was my only sorce of income i would be on the corner beggin for credits. I Sold it more as a novelity item than anything else, a sorta while you are here pick up a crate. I think people bought it just cause of the lable many times. I even got tells from people laughing or saying WOOT scooby snacks.

Btw if yo're a Ch why wouldnt you use the good stuff, like sweeson berrie rolls to boost your pets hame by 1200+ I know thats what i feed my pet.. if not i just forage, that free, and takes all of 2 seconds.

There is a market for it, its just a matter of finding it on your server.

You need to sell it at locations where people hunt, like the dantooine MOP, I find if I place weapon power ups or food here it is sold within the day, and I'm talking like 4k per crate for alot of this stuff.

Yes I know its a pain, and it can be a turn off when you don't sell something... but hang in there.

I hear it said before that you must unlearn what you have learned... thussell yourself and not the product. (not saying whore yourself out )

what I saying is, if people get to know you, and trust you, then they will start buying your products because of your good rep...

thats about all I can say, as this is a players market after all, and you can't really force people to buy your items. BUT you never know, we might get some increases after the CU... we can only hope

Your also forgetting exo wafers but yes artisan foods dont sell that way. And again let me point out this is a base profession. Your not supposed to be able to compete with the elite professions.

Travel biscuts are always needed by jedis or anyone who doesnt have Scout/explore 1
Exo-wafers have a 5 filling and block 20% of an attack for 20 attacks

The markets not there because the players are set in their heads thats its brandy, ahrissa and nothing else. This might change with the combat upgrade. But those that know cant tell us. And at that point the artisan foods might come back.

I'm not currantly MCH .. i said i USED to be.

As for using 'good' food to feed my pets its not really an option mainly because 1: i didn't go around with wounded pets in my DP 2: when you need to buff your pets and they had no wounds they were not hungry.

Totaly defeats the object huh.

That is why i only used cheap food to get rid of wounds , no point in spending loads when all you need is to get rid of wounds.

Its true that they wont sell anything like Chef foods but I'll tell ya if Im monkieing around on one of the starter planets I usually dont get buffed first. I always check the bazaar for bofa treats etc, rarely find em but if I do I buy em.

I have used a lot of artisan foods since I began playing, of course it was mostly when I was making my own. If they were stocked in crates on the bazaar Id buy them.

Artisan products are what they are, mostly consumables and lower grade stuff, usefull but not much at the high end. If I had to pick one Artisan food that Id like to see crated for sale it would be the lowly Bofa treat. Its the only food that buffs the Health HAM and is pretty handy if your hunting unbuffed on a starter planet. Actually I would prefer to have a cheap chef food for that like Won Won but there isnt one.

No, I'd agree that chef foods are vastly more popular than artisan foods. Just like no one goes to a medic if there's a doc around.

I've personally gotten requests for caf as it has such low filling, but that may have been a one off.

As a combat character, the single most Artisan food I've used has been the Exo Wafers. They've saved me out of plenty of jams when I was too full to take a Synthsteak. Travel Bs were pretty useful when I wasn't a CM.

As a crafter, I've had the best luck with those kinds of foods, PUPs, Repair Kits and the like at MOP, Smuggler's on Endor, or Science on Dant. Artisan items aren't things that people normally keep a stock of (well PUPs maybe, but you don't keep a full crate on you) so they tend to not have them when they need them.

I know I don't carry my crate of Exos (or Blue Milk) with me since I don't plan on using them all the time. If I weren't a paranoid medic with a crafter alt, I would probably run out hunting. (God knows how many times I've been asked for a Weapon Repair Kit in the DWB .) I'd just run out and buy some on the bazaar.

So just remember to stock the out-of-the-way places with your Artisan items and you'll do fine.
