Thread: How can i get rid of the luxury yacht? i want my lot back.

I destroyed the control device in my datapad, but it is still using up a lot. It won't let me trade teh deed, or destroy it, so am i stuck with it?
I really want that 10th lot back.

Must be a bug. I destroyed mine in the data pad and got my lot back.

It is a bug, and I had it too. Solution: write up a CSR ticket, and they'll sort you.

Yet another shining example of what a delightful punishment reward that yacht was to those of us who have somehow survived 6 months in this game.
Last I heard, those who deleted their yacht and didn't get theirlot back have to wait for a fix by the Devs. Hopefully the CSR won't tell you that, and instead they'll actually do something for you.

Its in the current list of things being worked on thats linked in the swoop thread. From other threads the fix is to open a CSR ticket and you will get your lot back
BTW i think that thing is a great veteran reward. For my crafter to have a hyperspace capable (and insta-travel capable) ship that cant be attacked and is multi-crew (limited to master pilots) is a gift. Its because they gave it storage for decorations that we have been facing this issue.
Dont look the gift horse in the mouth. Just let them know the problem and hope they fix it.

Make sure that you dont have any items in your yacht when you decide to destroy it. I dont think it will allow you to delete it if there is anything in the yacht.

No, I think it indeed is the bug that has happened to him. He says he deleted the control device in the datapad, but the lot is still in use. That is a bug, and the CSRs know about it and will help you if you report it.

I have to agree with you Canon Fodder. I also think it is a great gift. At first I was a little annoyed at the 1 lot "cost", but now I am tremendously happy with the situation. I've started to use my 75 item storage space in the Sorosuub as a museum, of sorts. You can call it long-term storage, but I try to make it a little more enjoyable. For a crafting doc, I, like all crafters, need all the storage I can get. This is the perfect way for me (since I try not to use my vendors as storage).
And of course, the insta-travel aspect is very nifty too, even though I could've gotten that from buying any entry-level hyperspace travelling ship. And why go on a surveying trip around the galaxy in a smelly TIE or Z95 when you can go in style with Sorosuub?
