Ok I just matered artisan on the Eclipse server for real this time, not for the jedi grind months and months ago.
I cant figure out how to get swoops or speeeders over 90% experimentation?!?!?
Anyone have any pointers they want to give to a "veteran Noob"

Its all about SR in your materials. Now my best swoop, and i have made a bunch, is 93%. Did that twice recently. That was with an over 980 SR on Iron and over 740 on copper. Which means i blew away 8k of some really nice materials on each of these. Not that im upset about the amount of materials needed for bikes being way way out of whack.
The non-ferrous is your limiting factory. Find a non-ferrous with over 800 SR and you'll probaly be dancing with 95% or so. And thanks to JTL this isnt as rare as it should be. Find the SW named materials, non-ferrous in this case, and check out there SR numbers. You'll find they arent capped like the rest of the non-jtl ones. This is also whats giving us Cond 900+ steel.
The difference between 90-95% ham on swoops isnt that much. But its there and now you have the tools. Please ask questions.

Yeah, the Shock Resistance of the non-ferrous metal is really what boosts your vehicles into the mid to upper 90's in experimentation.
I dropped harvesters on a JTL Perovskitic (or whatever lol) Aluminum spawn - it had 911SR. I got about 1 million of it total, then eventually just gave up since I'd used up all the power I had on hand (spawn lasted about 20+ days). About 4 days after I started digging this up, a Conductive Copper of some sort (another JTL resource) spawned, and it had 975SR. I didn't get any, since 911 vs. 975 wasn't a huge leap, and I already had a sweet spot for the 911SR stuff.
So anyways, yeah - keep an eye out on SR for ferrous and non-ferrous metal. ESPECIALLY the JTL stuff. You can make great vehicles. The rest of the stats can suck eggs, but Shock Resistance is all you should care about.

BTW for those resource sellers this also goes for melee weapons. Everything we said about vehicles applies here to melee weapons with shock resistance as 100%
