Naboo and Dantooine aren to bad. Lok and Tat are kings for this all flat but tat has some mountains. Remember the larger the harvester the bigger the footprint. So personals fit almost anywhere and heavies are the opposite. When they made it so houses could go on far more hilly land they didnt adjust harvesters and factories.

My favorite places are Lok (almost anywhere) Naboo between Kaadra and Theed, and the plateau at the north end of Endor.
I think Dath is the worst planet overall to place, when factoring in the trees, hills, and the dozens of red cons you have to avoid.

my favorate place will always be Naboo. It is totally flat will little mountains to foul you up. Best places are between Theed and Kaadra, Keren region, and the regions near the coast on all sides of the planet. Perfect virgin flat land. I like Lok as well, Dantoonie is a b!tch. I just had bad experiences there, just my opinion. Tantoonie is also good and flat as well, good places outside if Bestine and Espa. Dathomir is the worse i have found. Hills and slopes gallore and not many flat safe areas. I say safe cause who here has gotten punked by a family of Rancors or a girl scout of Night Sisters when trying to survey or drop on areas, hehe.

When I try to place like 5 or more harvestors on a spawn, I usually end up only being able to place a few because of the hilly terrain. What are the better planets that are smoother and are there any good locations that is barren/flat in a wide open area?
Thanks

Rori sucks, hills/valleys all over
Talus - not bad... i consider it like naboo
Tat & Lok by far have the most actual flat land i've ever seen.
Naboo next

I'd put Yavin high on the list of places that suck. The coast looks nice and flat, but it is usually just a little too much slope to put heavies down. If you move into the forest, the trees are so thick you can't see if you have a red pad or green pad most of the time. It's also expensive to fly back and forth.
I don't put harvesters there unless I absolutely have to.

Travel expense is an interesting consideration these days.
I've been using my JTL ship to travel. All starports are one hop away now. What I haven't paid any attention to is if it has costed me anything. I haven't seen any message about a cost, but haven't checked my before-after credits either.
The "everything (Starports, not Shuttleports) is one-hop away" benefit alone makes using my JTL ship more advantageous. If the cost is free, then it's definately the only way to fly...

Yes, it is free to travel using your personal starship. However, bear in mind that not everyone has JTL.
