I am reopening a power business that i had a few months ago, and i am wondering how JTL has affected the market for radioactive power. When people used to be hologrinding, power was selling like crazy. But now that people are all flying in space, is the market fpr power declining? Shipwrights need resources to build ships, so they still use power, but who else really needs it anymore? I've been looking around Scylla lately and everyone is a pilot or a combat-type. I am planning on selling bulk power for about 1.5 cpu, so hopefully i can get the market going. Please post if you use power, know who uses power, or have any other input on the subject. Thanks

Well I can't seem to keep my Radioactive vendor stocked since JTL.....lol and to top it off, all the Radioactive listed for my server on swgcraft.com is about to cycle out.

its totally wiped out the supply on TC. use to be a large abundance of resources, now it slowly getting stuff back. The only bad thing is that there are some selling 100k amounts and that is hard to comeup with credits when you just starting out in making items.

On Eclipse, it's actually increased the power market. The demand for additional resources to meet Shipwright's needs (along with a SWEET shift of new steel - best in server history) has harvesters on all planets working overtime, so power suppliers are having to work hard to keep up. Costs are up, as well, because the radioactive that previously had no earthly use other than to run fusion plants is now needed in shipbuilding as well (don't remember what systems), so wit the demand up for it, prices are starting to rise as well.

So, taken together, increased demand for power plus higher prices on radioactives has power costs climbing on Eclipse.

my shipwright toon is going through tons just keeping my harvies going for standerd resources much less his specific stuff for ships weapons and engines

but yes the high grade stuff is well low grade at the moment so anything thats high oq and high pe is in demand for shipwrights at the moment

JTL has effected all ground game. talk to anyone and there sales have droped tons.. as for shipwrightts?? i honestly dont know how they are making money. Chasis sales are slow even for the most high end ships.. i know my ships have more mass and HP that 90%.. but space loot has killed sales.. A good looter Can blow away anything a shipwright can make, with 3 exceptions

Its hard to find a good reactor.

ship armor is more customizable by shipwrights,.

and missles..

the only real advantage a shipwirght has is in low mass ships and squeezing in componets say on a head hunter, or tie fighter, but once you get into the 70+ mass ships that becomes a lot less of a factor.. I hope really hope they fix shipwright but as it is now its got to be the worst crafting prof there is..
