Is there anyway to get around this so it doesnt distrupt my macro dig.

Simple ... it DOES NOT interrupt your macro. I use macro digging for 15 hours ( sleep, work, live :-) between my active play periods and get up to 660 units sampled per hour ... when I actively start playing again from AFK i have some 20-50 windows with events to "cancel" ... just push the cancel button until all windows are closed and U see your avatars happy face again with the dollar signs in his/her eyes.

The correct answer was given above, but a slight note is important - the survey event does not interrupt your macro, but it does interrupt your current sampling. If you /sample in your macro and a survey event comes up - you will not get any resources until you either deal with it or perform a new /sample command (which involves, of course, in a macro, sitting, waiting, and standing first). I only put 3 loops on my macro cause I only use it for household chores while I'm playing - but there have been times where I've gained no resources because each of my 3 sampling attempts kicks off with a survey event.

Anyhow, the above noted limitation is intentional and to my knowledge, unavoidable.
