Recently I've run into two seperate cases of powerups that modified 4!! different weapon attributes. The first was the usual +31.xx to one, the second the usual +15 or16 to another (I forget the exact number), but then there were two more at lower single digit %'s to 2 other attributes. These were obviously made with high quality materials to get the 30+ on the primary attribute, but I've used 950+ OQ chem and mineral and have never been able to produce anything that modifies more than 2 weapon atributes.

Anyone know what the trick to making thesethings is?

It seems to be quite random to get the bonus effects. In fact powerup effects are very random to begin with.

It is quite random, but experimenting one point at a time seems to help somewhat.

Yes for me 1 of every 6-8 powerups made one point at a time is a 3-stat WPU.

1 of every 50 is a 4 stat. I've never gotten a 5-stat wpu.

Also, humans have 1 more experimentation point that *might* help.

I've had 4 stat powerups before... and I agree with the previous statement that using 1 point at a time significantly increases the chances of this happening.

Interesting! I've gotten 3-factor powerups pretty regularly, and never gotten a 4-factor powerup, but when after creating the powerupI see that the first factor is one I want (i.e., minimum damage, maximum damage, or attack speed), I always use 3experiment points at a time to reduce the number of chances for a critical failure.

I'll have to try one point at a time and see what happens....
