Thread: Sampling Gas: What am I doing wrong?
Okay- SO I already **edit**ed up the post, Now you think I'm a complete idiot and that is my problem...
ANYWAY- I built this kick ass gas pocket survey tool and I have found great pockets of gas (no jokes) but when I go to sample for it I get nothing. I've even tried in areas that have 85%-95% and still nothing. Am I supposed to use a different tool to extract the gas?
Man, there are a lot of potential jokes in this post.
Well, anyway if anyone can help me to extract this gas as soon as possible it would bring me great relief.

When I hit the 85-95% gas mark I just fart to extract it, do not do this near open flame!
sorry couldnt resist, Yeah if its arecent resource shift you will have troubles getting it, however you recieve a message saying the reource is to weak or something along those lines. Sometimes when you sample the first time it will say you failed to sample blah blah blah, than it takes a 20second break before you can continue, in which this next attempt could also be a fail, then you have to wait another 20 seconds before you will try for another sample.

This is normal after a resource shift - you get a "density is too low" message no matterhow high the density is for a while after a new resource appears. Just try again later and it will work.
Also, just wanted to note that as far as I know, all survey tools are created equal; an unexperimented survey tool made by a novice artisan will work just as well as a full experiemented one made by a master. Too bad - yet another viable market opportunity denied artisans.
