Thread: Basic Surveying Question...A little Help Thx...

Im a master TKA and soon to be Master Doc. I will have 18 points left over that I would like to put into Artisan for the surveying skills.
At that level can I operate and use harvestors or other mining equipment to its fullest extent? Can I buy and use a factory? These questions may seem dumb to some of you but I have mostly been a combat class.

Yes you can do all of what u mentioned. The Surveying just allows u to find the concentrations of resources, so u know where to place the harvesters.
The Higher your surveying skill is, the Larger the aria u can survey is.
Note: u get Surveying XP by sampling, not surveying. (Ironic) once u fined a high concentration u need to sample the resource to get XP.
