I know the answer to this question is more than likely something obvious but I haven't found any info in any faqs or other posts. When using a survey tool on any planet is the list of resources the only resources that are correctly spawning on such a planet, or if you travel to another area of the planet will new resources appear on the resource list.

everything on the scanner is what is on that planet, no matter where you go on said planet.
