I've been making Electronics GP Modules and Electronic Memory Modules recently. Does experimenting effect these things at all? I get boxes to experiment with but there is no "end result" that's any different from a regular non-experimented one.

It does have an effect even though you cant tell how much other than the experimented %.
It matters for certain items that require them as subcomponents. For other items the quality of the electronics does not seem to matter.

With the BH droids, if you use maxed out MA components than the stats apear to be better in the end result. and on Adv & Reg Probots the HAM does seem to change (if ever so slightly) if you use maxed out MA components.
But then this was before the last "big" patchand to be honest I havent built much since then.

I questioned droid batteries the same way. Couldn't figure out what the difference was, then I noticed I was getting more charges per battery.

I make sure i name all my components and put the number at the end for what the experimented % ended up as. You can see the marked difference in crafting stations.
