if I recall correctly, I'd have to log in to check exactly.. but crafting tools go by conductivity only. You need to check the screen when you are crafting. No chemical has Conductivity.. so if I remember right, and it's just conductivity.. then it doesn't matter what quality chemical you use.
Now, if it were say, Conductivity/OQ... then you'd want a high con metal with decent OQ and a high oq chemical.. but that's just me I guess.. lol

if you want to wastehigh OQChemical on something it doesn't matter for, then sure
Personally I'd save it for something else.
I was just throwing the Con/OQ combine out there for kicks.., so to speak..saying if an item needed Conductivity and OQ.. you'd want a high con metal with decent OQ.. and a High OQ chemical. But since crafting tools only require conductivity using 998 OQ chemical would be a waste as the chemical component doesnt effect the final product as it has no conductivity ![]()

1st generation lightsabers. Unless your server has some 1000 oq stuff somewhere of course. Ours has 2 spawns of 1000 oq fiberplast
