Ok first off I'm completely new to crafting of any kind, so please bare with me if I sound newbish. I'm trying to create a schematic for my P-darts to be used in a factory to help with my Ranger grind. From everything I can find, and have been told, all I should have to do is be next to a Weapon, Droid, and General Item Crafting Station, begin crafting the trap as normal. And I should get an option to make a schematic instead of actually making the trap. WhenI do this, I never get the option to make the schematic. I've tried it at public and private stations.Making all my traps by hand is a real pain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In addition to the station, you also must use a Weapon/Droid/General Item crafting tool. If you're using a "generic crafting tool", you can't experiment (which isn't a concern with traps) or make a schematic. You can use the generic crafting tool to create a W/D/GI tool (provided you've got some metal and chemical on-hand).

And just so you know, you'll also need an equipment factory to churn out the traps once you have a schematic.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know you had to use a Weapon, Droid, and General Crafting tool. I was just using the Generic Crafting tool. Also I've already got the Equipment Factory, but thanks for the heads up.
