These % represent the percent your item is of the theorical maximum value for that item. The theoretical maximum could be achieved by using resources with a critical stat of 1000 and using enough experimentation to get it there.

Every item you create by hand is unique (serliazed), and thusa prototype. If you create a manufacturing spec and take that to a factory, the final items wouldn't be considered prototype items.

1. I believe it is a percentage of the maximum possible stats that the object can obtain. So the higher these are, the closer to "uber" your crafted item gets. It depends on the qquality of the resources and the amount of experimentation. For example, I have high quality ingedients for my power-ups. The base % on effectiveness is around 27%. Once I experiment, I can max it out to 92%. If I had resources of quality 1000, I assume I could reach 100% after experimentation.

2. If you are next to the appropriate crafting station and have the appropriate specialized crafting tool (not sure about this), you will be given the option to "create prototype", "create template", or "experiment." I've never made a template since I don't own a factory yet, but I imagine that you would get a different message.

Hi all,

When crafting an item on step 3/6 is shows a picture of the item and gives you values al the bottom. It have Experimental Durability and Effectivness and give a percentage (%) beside each one and green bars. What do these mean?

Also when crafting an item is says "Please wait while the crafting station finished the final prototype"is it always going to be a prototype that I make?

Thanks
