I now have 2 of my 3 harvesters sitting on 10% or below area's and the stuff the were harvesting is no longer listed. Even though yesterday they were all 60% or higher. If SOE is doing this to make people redeed their equipment to move it around and get money out of the economy, its rediculous, because all its doing is hurtin g people like me who don't have alot of it.

If you think about it, resources don't move around! They stay in one spot, yes, they dwindle while you work it, but not from 60% to 0 in one day to be replaced by something totally different.

No resources are used up in time. i had a steel deposit and had about 20 harvesters around it and it went from 80 to 60 in 2 days and then 60 to 0 in 1 day so they are being used up with more harvesters. i also haev a polymer deposit and tis been at 92% for 3 days so it all depends on how many harevsters and they get depleted not moved around. and the creation is kind of a speeded up model of real life mineral creation.

i have never seen it lower as it goes.

I had my fiberplast go from 96 to 0 no other harvestors within 200- 300 meters

wind (which i don;t see how wind just goes POOF) just dissapeared.

i have seen resource shifts that reset to sometimes lower and sometimes higher in a spot but never just start to go down.

Unfornatly, you setup your harvetor just before the "Switch". I had Harvestors running for about a week and kept expecting them to run dry and they did.. But not sure if it's luck or a different way I do it, but I just switch over to what ever resource has replaced it at. But NEVER at 10%.. I'd rather empty the Harvetor, detory it, and create a new one and find a new place. I would redeed it, but it's better for me to remake it since I need the Crafting EXP any ways.

Also, gives me a chance to see a nw are aof the planet instead of running to the same place every day. We hav been known to move to a new planet and find new resources there to harvest.

Resources will run dry, it's a fact of SWG that I've learned to deal with and use it as a chance to move around.

Resources deplete and then new ones are rotated into the planet. On my server and planet I am seeing the end of the second rotation of resources. Assuch, it looks like about a 10 day rotation. The good resources aren't around that long. I tend to only put about 24-36 hours into my harvestors at a time and try to bank some resources for the dry spell. Some straggler resources will hang around but they usually aren't worth much except for grinding and destroying product.

Here's something I did. This isn't for everyone either but it worked (and still works) for me.

When I first started the game I took the stats it gave me. After a week or so of being terribly weak and surveying and manually harvesting my tail off I decided it was time for a change. I worked up to being able to build my own harvester. I then realized that hanging on to my artisan stats were pointless so I started migrating. I modeled them after a marksman's stats. Took about 3 days to finish.

Now I can have my 8 harvesters running and do a few destroy missions to keep them running. If a resource is depleted I either run two missions and move it or destroy it and build a new one. Just make sure you have a good stock of steel, aluminum and ore if you plan to rebuild them a lot.

This won't work for everyone I know so please don't go into detail how it won't. If you're the type that does a mining macro then this won't work at all. My HAM is now 1100/1000/450 (give or take i think) and this is good for a few surveys before you gotta take a break. I do a few surveys and determine the best place to sink my mine, and set it up. I still have enough action to mine, but my mind is a bit low for it.

Less Mind doesn't have an impact on your crafting either. I've not noticed a decrease in quality at all.
