I have experimented quite a bit, but i cannot tell if it has any long term effects. If I successfully experiment and a create an awesome item, unless I turn that into a schematic can I ever make that same item again? Also, Shouldn't I be able to take that awesome item i have created and experiment from there? If I make 50 muzzles at a crafting station, and experiment on all of them, why wouldn't each one be an improvement of the last one, instead of an experiment all by it self? Plus, how does experimentation effect crafting XP? HELP!

Experimentation is only on that one prototype item. Each item is serialized and unique. If you take your results and put them into a schematic instead of a prototype item, you get exact copies of that item from a factory.

Experimentation does nothing for XP.
