I'm not really an artisan, but I want to be able to make a bunch of stimpacks all at once. So I gather I need a schematic and a factory? Then I would feed the schematic into the factory and it will produce a boatload of stimpacks for me?

Since I'm really working up the brawler and scout tree, I kinda need stimpacks when I go out hunting. I harvest piles of hide and bone while I'm out, so I thought it would be easier for me to just make my own.

Any comments on this. Is it worthwhile for me to do it? Money comes easily, I just want to make my return to home less frequent.

I reccomend selling your hides and bones and just buying your stimpacks. You could also make a deal with a medic to provide him with free bones and hides for free stimpacks. Setting up a factory will be very expensive. I think a deed costs around 25K.

I have piles of hide and bone, and I thought It might be nice to just make my own.
