Weapon power ups make your weapon degrade faster, truth or myth?

seems true to me though i havent run any numbers yet.try some 90% efficient (some +31% damage couplers of ultimate final terminal doomed fatal death for instance) power ups and you should notice a pretty sharp difference in how fast your blaster turns into a heap of scraps (imho weapon decay seems a tad over the top... but it's good for business so i certainly wont complain)

I would be inclined to say myth. Ibelieve an overcharge shot will degrade a weapon faster tho.

Power-Ups do not degrade a weapon faster. Overcharge shots do though. I have tested this and it is a MYTH.

Chargeups that increase a weapon's speed make it shoot more blasts, right? Therefore it follows that a 26% attack speed coupler will make a weapon churn out 26% more blasts in a fixed time interval. Therefore it follows that the weapon's charge (or condition) drops 26% faster than an identicalweapon with no chargeups.

It may *seem* like the chargeup is causing more wear and tear, but that's not because of the chargeup, it's because of the increased use in a given amount of time. (At least in the case of attack speed chargeups).

Does that make sense or am I all wet on this one?

if u r attacking faster than yea of course weapon degrade faster, but its still the same rate of decay just that u r using the weapon more in the same amount of time.

however, i just tried with a health cost reduce power up and it appeared to me that the weapon was degrading alot faster.
