I just bought an R5 and can't get it to do a thing. Every command i give it from the radial menu just makes a "?" pop up over his head.

Also, the guy I got it from told me I could name it by saying it's name before the command. What kinda command line should I give him, I tried everything.

Thanks!

Im in the same situation with my mouse droid. Nothing works. I even put items into it and they were gone!! Although, when I re-logged they were back. Please, someone who knows answer these questions that we have.

When you get a droid

1. Click on the command in the radial, like the follow command

You'll then get a ?

2. Say "[name] Heel

You'll then get a !

now just say Bucky heel and he'll follow, do that for the rest of the commands and you're good.

Also for more detail you should check out the Droid Engineering forums.

As above, the radial menu is programming menu not a command menu, you use the program menu, then say the command you want to use for that droid action. Any time you say the command you used in future the droid will perform the relevant action.

However, the command does not need to be in the form <name> <text>

You can put in any command to any of the droid functions.

The name thing only applies if you want to name your droid. You name your droid by programming it with 5 or 6 commands all of which start with the same word, that prefix becomes the droid name. You can then reprogram it with other commands that do or do not include the droid name if you wish.

You should also note that you cannot choose any in-character name for your droid, as you cannot use capital letters, numbers, or punctuation. Personally for that reason, my R5 has been left without a name, since I refuse to name my droid 'Bubba'.
