1. The surveying tools should be experimentable. There could be for example following points be raised:
- Effectiveness (could manipulate the fail rate of the surveying tool, like crafting tools/stations)
- Speed (to decrease the needed time to sample another probe)
- Condition (because even surveying tools don't exist forever
)
a) Effectiveness
For every 10% eperimented the fail rate decrease by 1-3%.
b) Speed
For every 10% experimented the needed time for another sample probe decrease for 1-2 seconds (right now it needs 28 seconds on main server, as far as i know)
c) Condition
Every use of one of the surveying tools could decrease the "hitpoints" of the tool. When reaching zero its unusable.
2. The c) point would be a great possibility to create a new repair kit, the "Tool Repair Kit". It could function like all the other repair kits, just repairing tools.
3. And so all tools could get a condition and with every use of the tool the condition could decrease.
