It require high SR. Use Steel since there will go up above 950 and it is the main required resources is either Steel or Iron

The other required is Copper or Aluminum.

Basically it is Non-ferrous and Ferrous type metal. The higher the experimental rating the more Health Bar it has.

Just to make it clear to the newer folks - whatever stats you might look for in a resource and what the schematic actually requires are often two totally different animals.

When you pull up a schematic in your crafting tool, go to the little information window in the lower right corner of the crafting screen and scroll down. All the information you need is there. It will tell you exactly which stats the quality of the item depends on, and how they're weighed into to final combination by percentage.

Vehicles rely solely on Shock Resistance (SR) for experimental quality. Things like crafting tools andweapon repair kits rely 100% on the Conductivity (Con) of the metal or mineral. Weapon powerup quality is dictated by Overall Quality (OQ). These are just a few examples of items that only rely on a single stat...when you start crafting personal harvesters, for instance, you have two or three different stats that are importantto varying degrees, and will greatly affect the quality of the final product.

If one plans on becoming a successful crafter, learning how to interpretand utilize theschematics is one of the most important parts ofone's job - especially whenyou get into the elite crafting professions. Resource quality is *paramount* to creating a good product - except in the case of us Droid Engineers, but that's a totally different story that's (hopefully) being rewritten soon.

I hope this info helps some people out a little.

I am very new to the artisan profession and I want to create some quality vehicles (Im a master artisan) but I am not sure of what qualities to look for in the metals. I know i need ferrous and non ferrous metals to make them, but I'm wondering what stats im looking for... Am i looking for Overall Quality? Shock resistance? Conductivity? Help with this would be appretiated. I'd liketo have an example of what stats are required for a top quality vehicle. Thank you.
