Thread: Vehicle custom kits on TC anyone know the resources?

Has anyone logged onto the TC and could they let us know what resources are needed so I can stockpile and get them ready for factory runs on launch day. I'm sure I'm not the only one whos curious.

I just wanted to say it again so it gets posted on this forum as well......


WHY THE H#LL IS THIS SCHEMATIC MORE COMPLEX THEN VEHICLES?????


In order to make a vehicle I just need to slap some metal together and poof a car. But now in order to paint it I need sub components? (ONE OF WHICH I NEED TO GET FROM A DE?????????)


This is clearly either not the correct schematic for paint for a vehicle or if it is I think SOE needs to re anaylize their schematics. There are plenty of schematics that just don't make since. I can understand that things take Droid storage compartments but then why not give those to Master Artisans? These Droid Storage Compartments show up in at the very least 20 different schematics and only 1/2 of those are actually in the DE tree. DEs are already saught after to make droids (and with the new combat droids coming even more so) so why not kick this schematic down to Master Artisan?


And before you go and flame this (DEs) Have you made them? (I know you have) Did you make them at Novice? Do you know that if you experiment on them (not that it does anything) it uses your ARTISAN experimentation points?!!

Yes, Droid Storage Compartmentscurrently use Artisan Experimentation points. This is being changed in the next patch to use Droid Experimentation points. I guess you didn't know that.

It is my understanding that the future vehicles (publish 7/8 possibly???) will be much more complex. So don't put too much into the current tonka toys that we craft right now. Before you know it you can smile as you sink 28K specific type, spawn on challenge planet once every 32 days, steel into your vehicles. (/dripping with sarcasm for those that can't view it). As much as I don't like it, I understand the value of combining the needs of the classes together. Also, with some hope (after the post TH put out to the Artisan group) they will let ANYONE be able to use these new paint kits. I for one will not run around and play Graphic Guy and get haggled by people to paint their swoop and only charge 200c to do so.
