Every single one of my surveying tools is set to 320m, yet evey time I survey, I get a waypoint 220m away. It extremely annoying.

Further, why don't Master Artisans get an additional bonus to Surveying? +30 would be nice. It'd be great to survey half a kilometer at a time -- or more.

That's because your radius is not 320m.

Your survey-able AREA is 320m x 320m...

So the theoretical maximum WP you can get is the square route of (160 x 160 x 2), or about 226.28m.
