Grrrrrrrrrr,

Ok so I didn't read the fine print, you can't create a speeder until your a master. I am Artsian 4/1/1/4.

Reading up I am lead to believe that you can only become a master by earning 650xp as an Apprentice by training others only. So far I have found one person to train and all I earned was 30xp (this is going to take forever).

I found the biggest hassle in the game is lack of transport, death comes easily if you can't get away and jobs are selective if it takes an hour to get somewhere by foot, so I was designing my character so I would be able to build a speeder and start doing some exciting stuff (believe it or not grinding gets boring, like you don't know). I have now painfully discovered if I had spent all this time saving credits I could have just bought a speeder and be done with it.

Does anyone know anotherway to earn apprentice xp without training others, if not where is the best place to train folks? (I am on Euro-Chimera)

Training others is the only way right now to earn AP. Its actually 620AP.

If you are grinding stand outside one of the busier starports, while you are doing it. Have /invite already typed into your text box, when you see someone wanting to train in something you have (memorise what you have) type in their name fast. Almost always get the invite in before someone else can look around and target the person who wants the training.

You could try spamming yourself, asking for help.

Another method is to offer to pay per train.

Some people have heaps of xp they dont need. For example a Smuggler has no use for combat xp, if they have alot, which they tend to do, you can train them ranged support 1 a trillion times.

Get someone else who is also in need of AP, choose a level 1 combat skill for example pistols one, then go out shoot stuff and train / surrender as needed. Its only 1000 xp to learn tier one. Rinse and repeat.

Ask, beg, try some of the above. Hopefully will get you there abit faster.

In addition to what the other guy said... I have found it useful to use the search function, and search for novices of whatever professions I currently hold. Then send tells to the people thus found, asking them if they need any training. It seems to be more effective than spamming, because people tune spammers out, or put them on ignore just for being spammers. And always keep a watch out. If you see anyone running around asking to be trained, volunteer to train them If you do that, you are likely to have the necessary points before you are ready to use them. I have so many app points, I can't GET any more, even by training more people.
