Help - I know this is a noob question but........... My hopper in my private crafting station at my home is full of resources. I want to move this station. If I pick it up and move it without removing all the resources, could I possibly lose them? Should I empty the hopper first, then pick up the crafting station? Thanks for your help.

Yes, you should empty the hopper first.

And, annoyingly, you should keep it empty.

Apparently, use of the input hopper in private crafting stations for storage is a bug and should not be done. I'm hearing that the items stored there are not tracked properly as part of your house's inventory.

I've asked for clarification on this and an official word, but until then, the recommendation is to stop using private crafting station's input hoppers for storage.

Take care

I moved my house a few weeks ago, so I can answer this:

1. You can't pick up a private station if the input hopper isn't emoty. It won't let you.

2. Items in the input hopper do count towards your house total.

Items in hopper are applied to house item count.

Dear god, if the Devs dont know this, then it totally explains the reason old bugs resurface every few patches...
