Thread: Question: Melee P-UPs

I've been a master artisan for several weeks now. I've been trying and trying to get a schematic for some good melee power ups. I have not once seen damage or speed stick as a main mod, only as secondaries. Is this a limitation to melee power-ups, side effect of resources, or incredible lack of luck?

Yes, see the permutations that are possible posted in previous threads on this subject.


Speed and Max Damage belong to the secondary set and thus is a limitation on melee power-ups.


The only type I seem to sell or seem worthwhile selling are Mind Cost/Max Damage. I did after hundreds of attempts get a third stat of Min Damage and ended up with:


Mind Cost 32.83%

Max Damage 16.17%

Min Damage 8.25%


Schematic has run out now and I tried again in vain last night and couldn't get that combo.

What's Point Blank? I got a request for a Point Blank power up and got one of those freakish 3-mod schematics, looked like this:

31% Point Blank

15% Min Dmg.

5% Wound Chance

It increases your accuracy at close range. For example you might have a gun that is -50 @ 8 metres. It will increase that stat by whatever percentage of the power-up, and thus improving your chance to hit at close range.
