Okay I have sort of a question, I have found this steel with these stats.

CR: 620

CD: 508

DR: 893

HR: 939

MB: 333

OQ: 23

SR: 923

UT: 929

Overall everything is great except for the OQ, well that affect its price is what I am wondering, I mean, are those stats any good anyways?

Everything I sell that is not ore, rare, or in demand typicallygets priced usingthe star system. That being,1cpu base price +1cpu for every weight over 900. If I have steel with 3 stats 900 or better, that is a 3 star resource, and sells for 4cpu total.

Works pretty well.

Not all items depend on OQ, so someone might be able to use it. A dagger, for example, depends only on UT for it's stats. Harvesters and their components look at only UT, HR, and SR. Either of those could definitely benefit from that resource.

You could try checking the "resource usage" link at swgcraft.com. Put in "{type} Steel", "Steel", "Ferrous Metal", "Metal", etc up the category tree and check the schematics that come back. Almost all the items they have in their database list the "Experimental Properties" which shows what resource stats the item depends on. Offhand, I'd think architects would be a good market, maybe some others depending on the type of steel.

That star system is a good system. I usually sell any resource with a stat over 900 for 4 cpu, stats over 500 for 3cpu, and anything less for 2-2.5 cpu depending on markets too of course. But I also sell resources with 6 stats over 900 for 4 cpu. All of my resources are 4 cpu or under. I could probably sell for more but I am satisfied with that profit margin since all my resources come from static harvesters and I dont move them.

As for that steel it is very nice stuff and regrdless of the OQ you should be able to fetch a high price for it. Any resource with high stats in any field are usually valuable to someone. I've had people complain to me about pricing stuff too high because it didnt have the high numbers in the stats they wanted, but I'm not marketing to them.

Well, I know where it is, but I looked up to see what it was used in, only some part for a weaponsmith. But I will post the stats in my Galaxy trade forum and see what comes up Thanks
