Thread: How to make 33%max dam 16%min dam powerups?

Believe that it is a muzzle, is this correct? What level of artisan do you have to be to create?
What resources are necessary and how much?
What quality of resources are required to experiment to above stats?
I have only seen them in crates of 10, so does a full schematic run create 100 crates?
Any help would be appreciated. I need some of these and I am tired of searching them out.

Muzzle is your best bet.Though plan on crafting them a while until you get a max damage one. You need tobe a master artisanwith 10 -12experimentation points to spend. You also need 6 unitsofmineral and 4 units of chemical resources with ultrahigh OQ. You will not reach +33 +16 unless your resources are 995 or better in overall quality and you craft it with 30% experimentation to start. Then use allof your experimentation points 1 at a time to experiment to 99% efficiency.If anyone has succesfully done it with less OQ i'd like to hear about it. I can make+32 +14 with 976and 985 OQ @ 28% experimented to 98% efficiency.
Ithink10is the max for crates, I could be wrong. Don't knowhow many you can run off, since i've never made more than a couple crates for personal use. I assume if you have the resources you can run all 100.

I use a solid petro with 1000 OQ and a polymer 966. That can get me to 33 - 16. As far as factory runs, you can get 1000 out of it, but even if your hopper says you can have 100 units in there it seems to stop before 100 cases. (shrug). My current has 33 max damage 16 min damage and 7 speed!

You can get away with slighly worse OQ on the chem, since its weight is only 40% of the schematic. As I recall, I was able to make 33/16s with something like 996 on the mineral and only 981 on the chem.
Also, master artisan is not necessary; in fact, you get no crafting bonus. You only have to max out Engineering and Domestic Arts to get the full 10 experiment points, which is all you really need to hit 33/16.

Good clarifications. For some reason I thought that you had another +10 to experimentation at master. I stand corrected, thanks for pointing that out.

prices vary a lot by server, but on Ahazi I sell my powerups, which run close to 33% (32.81) in crates of 10 for 3200c. Although my current batch has 33%max / 16% min / 8% point blank attack mod, and I've raised it to 3600, nobody will blink an eyelid, 36 cpu, but the problem is the crate size, factory time, and vendor runs, vendor loading etc - that is what it eats into game time and stacks the price up. I could charge more, butI see it as a service, as I sell weapons, powerups, spices, vehicles from the shop and I get lots of cross business as a result.

You certainly could charge more, but it might be worth it as a loss leader to get people into your shop. Folks can buy those cases from you and sell them individually at 2000 or more each on the bazaar. Volume there isn't usually big though, and I can't say what is happening on your server, but they sell that way in a lot of markets.
What is really funny is when you can buy the crates to break up on the same server! LOL It has funded a couple of newbie alts for me.
They are items that are worth much more to the end userthan they cost to make.However, they are such a pain to make well until you get it down pat, that there isn't much competition.
