According to the recently posted Publish 8 Patch Notes, the issues with speeders not retaining their repairs has been solved.
Vehicles / Mounts
* Vehicles will no longer auto-heal when left out and stored after a player has taken a transport to another location.
So to those of us (myself included) that have been using this "feature" because we were tired of losing money for repairs that didn't 'stick', rest assured that this has been fixed. From now on (after Publish 8) when repairing your vehicle at a Garage (PC or NPC City), you can re-call your vehicle WITH CONFIDENCE that your vehicle will be at full health that you PAID for.
Thank you Dev's for finally fixing this issue. The artisian community can finally start making vehicles again as a viable method of income.
IF however they didn't fix this problem and they are just removing this "feature" for the hell of it, I forsee a HUGE backlash from the player base.
Just thought you'd like to know.
Cheers

I hope you dont hope too much.
It just said, that they cover up the Exploit, that you could leave your Speeder
right by the Ticket Collector, and Travel, then Store and Pull the Speeder again and have it
at full "Health" again. I hope this interconnects to the "Repair not Sticking" bug....

I just hope it fixes the repair not sicking, It just sicking after spending 2-4k to repair the darn thing to store it and pull it out later to not have any repairs, thank goodness they fixed the HAM problems in the previous publish..
Very frustrating when you do not have a lot of creds just sitting around.

look at it this way. now you can sell the bikes again since when a bike gets disabled they cant jsut shuttle to another place and have it be fully healed

I think this will be a good help to the economy of the game as well. ive read posts reguarding money sinks to balance things in the economy and for the most part agree with them. I look forward to this feature, unfortuately though the folks that must eek out an exitance may have a hard time owning and maintaining a vehicle.

The vehicle money sink is a great idea, but the non-sticking repair bug needs to be fixed. That is an unnecessary money sink.
There is a sure way to get it to stick, but its a pain if you are on the run and should not even be an issue
store it, call it, repair, store again
If it doesnt store the first time, it wont stick. Just move on or leave it somewhere till it autostores.
