Do the statistics of Energy have any effect at all on how well a harvester/factory run? Intuition would say yes, but I can't verify this anywhere. Also, what good is Solid Petrochem Fuel? I can't seem to use it as fuel...-.-
I'm sure these are "n00b" questions, but I am indeed new to crafting, so just straight answers, please and thank you

The only stat that means anything on energy if you are using it as power for harvesters is the PE. Anything over 500 grants more units of power than the 1:1 ratio you get on anything under 500, afaik. The solid petrochem is used in some crafting schematics or can be used as a generic mineral resource for other schematics.

Gotcha. I found a high concentration of some Duralinouium (or something like that) and was going to power the harvestor with some other solid petrochem fuel I bought at a vendor (it was theonly "fuel" in the area I could afford...), but found that I couldn't use it to power the harvester -.-
What's the fair standard price for radioactive and wind fuels? I've found good concentrations of Ofeism (radioactive) and Durace (wind).

Prices will vary from server to server, but from what I've seen power sells for less than regular resources in terms of cpu. As an example, power I've seen from 0.8 to 1.5 cpu.

It's actually a Class 7 Solid Petrochem Fuel. It's pretty top notch, too. DR = 727, PE = 926, and OQ = 850. I found an 88% concentration of the stuff...but it's in a no-build zone...
Oh well, I found a decent concentration of Ofeism, which is a radioactive fuel that has stats of DR = 449, PE = 600, and OQ = 523. I'll be using that energy to mine Omnilereris once I have enough of it (heat, shock, decay, and entangling resistant, with good unit toughness to boot [all of these stats are > than 500]), so it's all good

Ive seen really good radioactive like 900+ PE go for no more than 2.5 cpu on my server and to me that is pretty good since you are getting morebang for your buck. Stupid petrochem fuels, I never understood why they call them fuel and list them as energy on the bazaar, but you cant use them to power anything. Ask the docs though, they need class 5 or class 4 petrochem for one of their schematics, also DEs need solid petrochem for droid repair kits.

Class 4 liquid petro. for Advanced Chemical Release Mechanisms for Medics/Doctors.
I also sometimes use Radioactives for the inorganic slots in meds. As they are one of the inorganic resources that have both OQ and PE attributes. Whether these are good for your health are another thing - mmmmm radioactive medicine - .
