If you have enough resources, artisan can be done in a DAY. Work on stuff like bone armor and wooden staves. Surveying shouldn't take more than a few hours of AFK sampling.

artisan can be done in a day easy

I did:

food and chem crafting tools to engineering 3, then personal mineral harvesters for the rest of the crafting boxes. Providing you have the resources (steel, aluminium and ore I think), this should take no more than an hour.

Then just set up a sampling macro to get you the surveying xp - shouldn't take more than about 6 hours afk.

Ignore the blue box. take a profession that you'll enjoy and stick with. And won't leave empty vendors behind with when you drop it.

It only takes a few hours to level the noob artisan crap....

For about 10K you can buy the bone and fiber and hide you will need to craft the Bone armor..

The dreary part is having to sample....just find a 90% spot and macro it
